10-year landless shelter project with foreign aid
Ownership of land and house is given in joint names of husband and wife of landless, homeless, distressed and fragmented families. In this regard, special priority is being given to the disabled, families affected by river erosion, the third gender (transgender), the elderly, widows and those abandoned by their husbands. So that the resettled family does not get into any complications related to ownership in the future, the upazila administration hands over possession of the land along with the registered deed of ownership of the land, Namzari Khatian and Dakhila.
