Project Features
Micro loans are arranged for their socio-economic development from shelter projects and various government agencies. Besides, other social organizations and NGOs are also involved in these programmes.
The homeless are encouraged to do agricultural work including planting fruit, forest and medicinal trees in the project area. Ensuring health care for resettled families is provided through community clinics.
Priority is given to avail the benefits of old age, widow and disability allowance, and other programs under the social security net.
Practical and technical training is imparted to resettled family members to engage them in various productive and income-generating activities.
